mmmmm....
while i have a serious addiction to brunch and all things surrounding brunch i absolutely hate eating breakfast. it's not that i don't like breakfast food, i would eat cereal for dinner if people didn't judge. i'm just never coherent enough in the mornings to pull it together and i'm usually in a rush to get out the door because i've slept in or procrastinated getting out of bed. i make myself a shake and sip it while i get ready and get my stuff organized for the day. it also beats the hell out of a cup of coffee and bagel which gives me major heartburn, and since i'm trying to ease off my caffeine habit (aka less that 6 cups a day) it's a good way to start.
1 cup soymilk
1-2 bananas
2 scoops protein powder
1 tablespoon peanut butter
throw the whole mess into a magic bullet for a few mins.
best fucking breakfast smoothie ever.
