cheesy post ahead... please skip over it if you are going to roll your eyes.
the good thing about not having a television is that i don't have to hear or interact with 9-11 hoopla that i'm sure is all over the major networks.
i have to say while the event was a tragedy i hope that people also remember that there have been many tragedies and massacres and traumatic events all over the world at the hands of U.S. imperialism.
so instead of just remembering the twin towers and the attack on US soil, remember rwanda, darfur, chile, and bosnia. remember haiti, palestine, iraq. remember that a good deal of people in the world are still dying from the crippling effects of poverty, and from diseases ranging from simple diarrhea to illnesses like AIDS and malaria.
remember that there is still a great deal of injustice.
